The CESAR methodology describes a transdisciplinary procedure for researching and developing innovative solutions for different fields of application. Areas of application of this methodology include classical design disciplines, such as design and architecture, as well as the development areas of engineering sciences and management consulting. The primary goal of the CESAR methodology is to identify a need based on a precise and comprehensive understanding of the context to be addressed and to meet this need in a moderated and structured manner by means of innovative solutions. In doing so, a special effort is made to include all relevant actors or departments of a context. Further information on the CESAR methodology can be found on the website of the
Institute for Design Research at
the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt.
