We do innovation management. As a former research institute, IFID is closely linked to Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences. In cooperation with the Design Department, we were able to implement a pioneering research project for Stromer — a Swiss company that produces S-pedelecs specially tailored for commuting people.
The aim of the project with students from Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences was to develop pioneering concepts and ideas for innovative services for a Commuter Bike. The provision of Stromer bikes made it possible to carry out user tests and immediately test innovative concepts such as redesigns or the integration of new functions. The project not only opened up new perspectives and visions of the future for Stromer, but also supported networking with committed and talented students.
