Research and use case

For the cosmetic treatment of, e.g., facial wrinkles, in addition to injecting Botox and Hyaluron, so-called PRP plasma - the body´s thrombocyte-rich blood plasma - can likewise be used. A small amount of blood is taken from the patient and centrifuged. The plasma obtained is warmed up and injected with a syringe.

Design and development

In addition to the two modules of the UTU - Ultra Thermage Unit, the centrifuge, and the plasma warmer, the interface was also designed. A modern, minimalist, and user-friendly interface enables fast and error-free operation. Furthermore, in cooperation with Henke-Sass, Wolf GmbH, a micro-dosing syringe was designed and developed, allowing a fine and precise plasma dosing. In addition
